General things that you should be aware of

If you didnt know these things, you should read them. Any other useful information will be welcome, so feel free to post it. Here goes:

1. First and foremost, may i say a very short and comprehensive thing: DONT EVER GIVE YOUR ACCOUNT INFORMATION TO ANYONE. Doing that would be plain stupid.
2. Before downloading any 3rd party software, make sure it doesnt have trojans/keyloggers etc, which might jeopardise your personal information. You can do that simply by not downloading any of those "bullet-proof software that someone asured you you're not gonna have any problems with", or using an antivirus software.
3. There is a way (i dont know how) that some players may get personal information off you via private trade/personal party invite, so i would advise you to autodeny those things. It's just safer. (if anyone knows a certain thing about this, please post it)
4. Regarding scamming, ALWAYS make sure that the item you're getting is what you want. Some idiots may change the amount of gold they give you on private trades, change the item they're selling or the amount they're selling it for on stalls. Always check again before pressing "confirm" or any other button.

I would like to add to what Woot just said a little thing... just the other day some idiot offered me to "make my SOS a SOSUN" if u havent figured it out by urself so far im gonna spill it for ya ITS A FUCKIN SCAM, yes hes gonna take ur shit & let u sing poems to a horse all day long... so be careful of such a thing

Yeah, I read that in SRO news.

Today i hired a plvler & he asked for the gold in advance so i paid him, the guy was alright but soon i got this idea, he could have just took the money & kicked me from the party... be careful who u pay for to plvl u, if ur paying in advance make sure u can trust this guy completey otherwise pay him after hes done & plz do pay him wicked members r no scammers ^^
